About Diti Tiwari
Diti Tiwari is a Clinical Psychologist who provides warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed psychological care. Her approach integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic approaches, and inner-child work. She views therapy as a space to slow down, feel understood, and develop a deeper understanding of oneself without judgment or the pressure to have everything figured out.
Her work is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and the belief that clients are the experts on their own lives. She focuses on understanding the patterns, emotions, beliefs, and protective responses that shape an individual's experiences, while also attending to how these are held in the body. Her practice is contextual and trauma-informed, recognising the influence of relationships, family systems, culture, identity, social environments, and the broader sociopolitical realities in which people live.
She is queer-affirming and committed to creating a therapeutic space where individuals can bring all parts of themselves without fear of judgment or invalidation. She also has training in working with suicidality and approaches such experiences with sensitivity, safety, and collaboration. At the heart of her practice is the belief that people are not problems to be fixed, but individuals whose struggles often make sense when understood in the context of their experiences.
